Centro Dental is led by the father-daughter team of Dr. Allan Woo and Dr. Danielle Woo.
Your Dentists
Dr. Allan Woo
Allan was born in Shanghai and at age 5, moved to Hong Kong where he attended La Salle College. Vancouver became his home in 1967 when his family immigrated to Canada. Allan obtained his DMD degree from the University of British Columbia (where he met his wife Lynn) in 1978.
When asked what surprises him after more than 40 years in dentistry, he answers, “I’m still having fun at work!” Allan enjoys interacting with his patients, keeping up with technology in dentistry and working alongside his daughter, Danielle.
In his spare time, Allan enjoys golf, travelling with Lynn, photography, and most of all, spending time with his grand-daughters.
Dr. Danielle Woo
Danielle was born and raised in Richmond and attended St. Joseph the Worker Elementary and C.E. London Secondary schools. Like her parents and brother, Danielle is a graduate of UBC. She obtained her Bachelor’s degree in Biology and her DMD degree from the Faculty of Dentistry, where she is an active alumni.
She is a member of the Canadian Dental Association, the British Columbia Dental Association, the American Academy of Clear Aligners, and the continuing education programs in Invisalign® Orthodontics, implant dentistry and complex dental treatment planning. These Associations have allowed Danielle the opportunity to continue learning, something which she believes is important as a dentist. She is also a certified provider of BOTOX® Cosmetic and Invisalign®.
When Danielle is not working, she can be found with her husband and 2 girls, eating sushi, playing in the park or building Lego !
Dr. Samantha Chong
Samantha was born and raised in Vancouver and practiced as a Pharmacist before she graduated from UBC with a degree in Doctor of Dental Medicine. She has spent the last 9 years working as a general dentist in a family practice in the Lower Mainland. She also works in public health as a part of the Vancouver Coastal Health Pediatric Dental Clinic.
As a dedicated professional, Samantha continues to keep current with developments in dentistry by attending numerous continuing education courses each year and study clubs such as the Prosthodontics in Practice Study Club. She primarily enjoys restorative, prosthetic, and pediatric dentistry but her strength is in developing meaningful, long term relationships with patients.
When Samantha is not in the clinic, she can be found chasing around her twin boys, crafting, and learning how to cook!
Dr. Suzanne Siu
Suzanne was born and raised in Vancouver, British Columbia. She graduated from UBC with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology. Suzanne completed her DMD degree at Boston University School of Dental Medicine. She then completed a residency in Advanced Education in General Dentistry at NYU Langone Dental Medicine. She is committed to being a lifelong learner through continuing her education by attending dental courses, conferences and study clubs.
Suzanne practices general family dentistry and is committed to providing quality, evidence-based dental treatment. Her attentive and gentle approach helps her patients feel at ease while they are receiving care. She is dedicated to working with patients to optimize their oral health through addressing individual oral related concerns and developing personalized treatment. Suzanne is a standing member of the British Columbia Dental Association and College of Dental Surgeons of British Columbia.
Outside of clinic, her interests include spending time with family and friends, traveling, running and skiing.

After 13 years in real estate, Alice found her calling for Science in dentistry. She strives to provide optimal client care and help clients to reach optimal oral health by educating them about oral self care and disease prevention.

Ava graduated from Vancouver College of Dental Hygiene shortly after completing her Bachelor of Science in Biology from UBC.
GRACE C
REGISTERED DENTAL HYGIENIST, TEAM LEAD
After completing her Bachelor of Science degree at UBC, Grace obtained her diploma in Dental Hygiene.
LEONA
REGISTERED DENTAL HYGIENEST
Leona graduated from the University of British Columbia with a Bachelor’s Degree in Dental Sciences while working as a dental assistant at Centro Dental.
Mary
REGISTERED DENTAL HYGIENIST
After completing her Bachelor of Science degree at UBC, Mary continued her studies and obtained her diploma at the Vancouver College of Dental Hygiene.

Certified Dental Assistant
Alice is a graduate of the CDA Level 2 Program at Vancouver Community College in 2012.
BEVERLY
CERTIFIED DENTAL ASSISTANT
Beverly, with a Bachelor’s Degree in Doctor of Dental Medicine in the Philippines, made Saudi Arabia her home for 19 years working 8 years as a dental assistant, 7 years as a hygienist and 4 years as an implant clinic-supervisor.
Mary-Jo
CLINICAL OPERATIONS MANAGER / CERTIFIED DENTAL ASSISTANT
Mary-Jo (MJ) has been in the dental profession for over 36 years and of those, 35 years has been working with Dr. Allan Woo which MJ claims has offered her the luxury of developing life-long relationships with her patients – her absolute favourite part of her job.

Office Administrator/ Dental Assistant
Alicia graduated from the University of British Columbia with a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology and first joined Centro Dental in 2016 as a dental assistant.
JANET
OFFICE MANAGER
Janet joined Centro Dental after 30 years working in the telecommunications industry. Her career spanned from Corporations, National Telco, Marketing/Engineering and Human Resources.
JEANNIE
OFFICE ADMINISTRATOR
Jeannie was born and raised in Canada. For 22 years she worked in Hong Kong’s fashion industry as a fashion buyer for Karl Lagerfeld – one of the most exciting times of her life.
Judith
OFFICE ADMINISTRATOR
In 2018, Judith came back to work with Dr. Allan Woo and joined the Centro Dental team after spending 16 years in Portland, Oregon. Prior to moving to Oregon, she worked for Dr. Allan Woo for 6 years and loved the connections she made with the patients, which is what drives her - her passion for people. She loves interacting and engaging with everyone she meets. Helping patients to feel relaxed and comfortable is her main goal. In her spare time, Judith enjoys playing the piano and singing, and in the summer, hiking and long walks.
KIMBERLEY
Office Administrator
Prior to joining the Centro Dental family, Kimberley’s wealth of knowledge in the dental industry comes from working as a receptionist for an orthodontist office for over 6 years.

Office Administrator
Shirley really enjoys working with the Centro family and looks forward to meeting the patients at Centro Dental. She hopes to deliver a positive and memorable experience for our patients.
